Tot Time

Tot Time is intended to be the “first steps” in helping motor development skills, balance, coordination, and functional skills in a  safe and healthy environment.

18-24 Months - This age range is focused on static      balance and dynamic balance; balance while moving. Along with balance they will be asked to do a number of locomotion activities; hopping,      running, and jumping and object    control  activities; dribbling, kicking, and throwing.

2-3 Years - After building on the static and        dynamic coordination, we will move into locomotion movements like      galloping and sliding. Also the class will be building on throwing, dribbling, and kicking, by exposing the child to catching and striking.

4-5 Years - The children will begin to exhibit gross motor functions that are key in performing various movements. Our goal is to build on sliding and introduce skipping and leaping. Object control will be focused on maturing already learned movements into proficient movements.
